Webberbus is a privately owned company that operates an ever increasing number of bus services around Bridgwater, Minehead, Taunton and Weston Super Mare in Somerset. It operates regular inter-urban services radiating from Taunton on a commercial basis, . A large proportion of its work is coach trips as well as private hire and school contracts. Most importantly the company operates a substantial heritage fleet on its bus route 400 and for private hire. Its fleet is one of the largest heritage fleets in UK.

Operation

A small operation of public bus services. The peak vehicle requirement = 5. One man operated buses operate on Routes 39, 300, 627 & 632 whilst crew operated buses operate on Route 400.

Fares & Ticketing

First Day South West Explorer tickets are accepted but not issued on Route 400[1].

Singles and Returns are available.

Free Travel for those holding a English National Concessionary Pass is available across the bus network.

Payment is made to the driver except on Route 400 where passengers must pay the bus conductor, this is one of the last crew operated bus routes in the UK. Also the company holds regular running days when crew operation occurs on the other routes which they operate.

Route 300 is an extremely scenic daily service linking Minehead, Somerset to Lynmouth, Devon. The open-top double-decker bus runs through the Exmoor National Park taking you along some of the most beautiful coastline in the country. The service runs from Minehead to Lynmouth via Porlock and County Gate and in the summer you can catch a continuation service to Ilfracombe[6].

Route 400 is a recommended route as part of the series of trips in the Scenic Britain by Bus publication[7].
