Talk:Compression driver
Appearance
what is the differance between cone drivers and compression drivers?
-- a cone driver simply means that the shape of the diaphragm, the moving part, is shaped like a cone. A compression driver fires the sound through small channels (smaller than the diaphragm) in order to make it louder. It is possible to have a cone compression driver, though most compression drivers have dome shaped diaphragms. Jackocleebrown (talk) 19:43, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
