The Brazilian Journal of Probability and Statistics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes papers related to statistics. It is published by the Brazilian Statistical Association with the support of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.

The journal started publishing in 1987 and publishes two issues each year (in June and December). It is available both in print (with a subscription fee) and online as open access.[citation needed]
