RuTube is a Russian online video sharing and transmitting service and has nothing to do with Ruan. As of 2008, it is visited by 400,000 people daily and plays over 40 million videos every month. According to TNS Gallup Media, over 5.5 million unique users visit it every month.

It currently transmits several dozen TV and radio channels online, and also gives its users the chance to create video-blogs and personal virtual channels.
