  1. There is no attempt on my part to unilaterally change any Wikipedia practices. As a matter of fact, as of this morning [1] Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser redirected to WP:RFA, which is why this appeal was made here and not elsewhere. Please assume good faith next time.     Hall Monitor: Your good faith is not at issue here. Your standing to attempt to make policy by posting this and the appropriateness of this topic are. The existence of a REDIRECT does not set policy. Have you mentioned this to the ArbCom? Can't you take a cue from your own nominee, who says this is the ArbCom's province? -- Cecropia 22:56, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    Yes, I have brought this up with several members of the Arbitration Committee. I never stated that the existence of a redirect sets policy. Hall Monitor 23:02, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
