Summarization related with the informatic world makes reference to the automatic process of creation a summary, from any kind of text, by an informatical way ( with the help of a summarization tool, for example). Although this development represents a very useful option for the user, the creation and development of a tecnology that can make a coherent summary, of any kind of text, taking into acount diferent aspects such as length,writing-style, syntax... results quite difficult.
There are different types of summaries depending what the summarization machine focus on to make the summary of the text, like sentence-selection summaries, generic summaries or query relevant summaries. In the words of Goldstein"Human summarization of documents, sometimes called abstraction, produces a fixed-length generic summary that reflects the key points which the abstractor deems important." [1] However, in some cases user´s necesity could "ask" for different information, the kind of information that is obtained by QUERY RELEVANT SUMMARIES.
Nowadays, summarization systems are able to create both Query relevant text summaries or generic machine-generated summaries depending on what the user needs, among other types of summaries. Actually, can have acces to a coherent and correctly-developed summary can be of great utility to the user, specially in these times called "the era of information",in which the amount of information grows day by day. A good example for the application of the summarization tecnology could by an Internet Searcher, like GOOGLE. It would be much more easier and faster to find what you really need if instead of appering the lines in which are the words you put in the tool to make the searching, it will appear a little summary of the most important ideas.
