Current Protocols, published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc., is a series of laboratory manuals and a recently launched website for life scientists. As of February 2010, the series contains over 12,000 protocols across 14 disciplines.

Scientists contribute methods which are reviewed by one of 14 Editorial Boards and edited to a high standard to ensure accuracy. The core content of each title is updated, and new material is added, on a quarterly basis. In April, 2009 Wiley-Blackwell launched Currentprotocols.com, a comprehensive online resource that includes online versions of all of the texts as well as tools, videos, and the blog Beyond the Bench.
