The Fennec logo is currently being used in Maemo builds, should it be added to this page? --68.81.70.65 (talk) 17:09, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speaking of logo, is Fennec a fork of Mozilla Firefox like IceWeasel? --Ramu50 (talk) 18:20, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AFAIK it is an official project of Mozilla aimed at making a mobile browser (something that can compete with Pocket IE and Opera Mobile/Mini, I think). In some respects it is very similar to Firefox (rendering engine is Gecko, for example) nneonneo talk 01:54, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. Note that "this logo has nothing do to with the final Firefox Mobile branding." Also a simplified version is available. --Execvator (talk) 03:16, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Screenshot

Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the Wikipedia main page (preferably) from an actual mobile device? The screenshot up there is nice, but it doesn't highlight the major application of Fennec, which is mobile browsing. Any takers? nneonneo talk 00:20, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

S60 v5

Anyone knows if they gonna port it to S60v5 platform? Couldn't find any mention on their website. I am asking because Nokia 5800 XM direly needs a good browser now. The default one is very inconvenient and the only alternative is Opera Mini, which is even worse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.149.41.31 (talk) 08:40, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Firefox for mobile

The browser is now officially under the Firefox name as Firefox for mobile[1][2] I'm moving the page to reflect the change, I think the logo can also now be added to the infobox (mozilla also announced that this logo will be used on social networking sites, t-shirts etc... but I think the browser will be using the Firefox logo. It would be nice if someone can update the screen-shot to the latest built preferably showing the wikipedia main page. Chris Ssk talk 16:22, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MicroB

On the N900 the browser is unbranded and entitled 'MicroB', although seemingly still Fennec underneath. Anyone know the reason for this? MicroB is unmentioned on Wikipedia, or practically anywhere else —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.70.156.254 (talk) 00:29, 11 February 2010 (UTC) MicroB does have an article in Wikipedia, its not Fennec, its a different browser developed by Nokia using Mozilla's Gecko layout engine --Chris Ssk talk 06:56, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
