Language

Using language like "melt down", "bailout" and "toxicity" etc. might be ok for a sensationalist newspaper article but is unhelpful here. These are not financial terms and they serve to obfuscate further a complex subject by trivializing it. Descriptions of financial transactions and processes should be made in plain language and using generally accepted accounting and financial jargon that can be looked up by those not familiar with the terminology. Leave the colorful language to the popular press.
