SCCP is a half-proprietary VoIP terminal control protocol by Cisco. It is rumoured to be a descendant of IPDC or SGCP.

Other companies like Symbol and SocketIP have implemented this protocol in VoIP Terminals (phones) and Media Gateway Controllers or Softswitches.
