Temp version

I started a temporary version which adds info from another source, and changes some wording from the original source. Not all the wording is changed, however. . Fresheneesz 21:16, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Library vs. specification

"The C POSIX library is a language-independent library [...]"

Is it correct to speak of a library? This makes the C POSIX library sound like an actual implementation rather than a specification or standard from which implementations can be derived. Cf. with POSIX Threads. --Abdull (talk) 19:11, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
