Grid code

A grid code is a technical specification which defines the parameters an electricity generating plant has to meet to ensure proper functioning of the electrical grid [1]. The authority responsible for the electricity distribution specifies the grid code which may vary from country to country.

Independent power producers

Independent power producers like photovoltaic power stations or wind farms have to comply with the grid code.
