VisualCron is a automation tool and task scheduler/job scheduler for Windows.


Automate common Tasks

  • execute files with advanced properties
  • encrypt/decrypt files using Open PGP standard
  • compress/decompress files using zip,gzip,bzip,tar
  • copy/Read/Write/Touch files
  • Create/Read/Edit XML files
  • transfer files through common protocols like FTP/FTPS/SFTP/HTTP
  • perform SQL queries, stored procedure calls, DTS/SSIS package execution
  • perform operations against Active Directory
  • perform operations against Exchange Server
  • send Email (encrypted or not) together with attachments
  • perform Registry operations
  • print documents (word, pdf etc)
  • put servers in Hibernate/Standby
  • restart/Wake up servers

Client/Server architecture

VisualCron uses a Client/Server architecture. The Server is a Windows service running in the background. The Client can connect locally and remotely across the network/Internet.
