Current goals

"List/Tag/Assess/Write/Maintain", that's our motto here!...

• List:
  • Identify all existing Wikipedia Java-related articles (with Category:Java platform or a subcategory).
  • List Java topics not already covered in Wikipedia articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_article_requests)
  • Expand and format the list of articles accordingly. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_articles)
• Tag:
  • Put the project banner {{WikiProject Java}} on Java-related articles' talk page to make editors aware of the existence of this project.
  • Tag the relevant articles with the {{Portal|Java|Wave.svg}} template.
• Assess:
  • Assess (or reassess) unassessed articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/Assessment)
  • Increase article quality towards Start, C, B, A, GA or FA status according to their importance level.
• Write:
  • Write the listed redlink articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_article_requests)
  • Put an Infobox like {{Infobox software}} in articles where applicable.
• Maintain:
  • Maintain the WikiProject Java.
  • Enhance the Java portal (created on September 27, 2009).
