Talk:CryptoAPI
I'm guessing that the Windows CryptoAPI is different from the Linux CryptoAPI? It's not obvious from the article whether this is the case. — Matt Crypto 19:50, 23 May 2005 (UTC)
- It would seem "CryptoAPI" is only a name for the Linux kernel functionality. It is unambiguous. This disambiguation is unambiguous. Furthermore when users search for Linux cryptography, they have a 50/50 chance of choosing the wrong CryptoAPI link. If they pick the wrong one, they get confused, like me and you, Matt.
