Windows Support Tools are software utilities for Microsoft Windows that assist support personnel and network administrators in managing their networks and troubleshooting problems. Many Support Tools provide diagnostic features that are useful for troubleshooting Windows operating system configurations. However, because these tools have been designed primarily for system administrators and support personnel, their output may be difficult to analyze.

The Windows Support Tools are not automatically installed with the Windows operating system, and must be separately installed from the \Support\Tools folder of the Windows installation media. Updates to the Windows Support Tools may also be available from the Microsoft Download Center.
