So what does the man say in the opening seconds of Get Ur Freak On? Sounds like Japanese, though I could easily be mistaken. - CrazyRussian talk/email 18:59, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Renamed

I've renamed it to "Miss E... So Addictive" according to All Music Guide, but "Miss E...So Addictive" seems to be a very common name. Did Missy confirm any of the names?

Inspiration

I can't back this up, and I doubt anyone cares at this point, but parts of the album, and "Get Ur Freak On" in particular are known to be heavily influenced by Mindless Self Indulgence. Rumor has it, that the head of Electra, who at that time signed both acts, gave Missy copies of Tight and FGWSSS, and told her to base at least one single off of them. This incident ultimately led to Mindless Self Indulgence leaving the label. Jimmy Urine of Mindless Self Indulgence has said that he had to listen to "Get Ur Freak On" over 50 times before he could be convinced it was a song he himself didn't write.
