I see that we have a lot of red links and ext links on the entries. I think these should be purged. Any objections? --DanielRigal (talk) 00:01, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

Is it me or is this page identical in intention to List of FTP server software? PizzaMan (talk) 09:53, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Be careful in merging these two pages. Although there are many similarities, the target is somewhat different. This page appears to be targeted at those contemplating the acquisition of an FTP server package and are looking for comparison data. The List of FTP server software is a raw dump of the packages available, has errors (technically, Microsoft's IIS is not an FTP server package, although there are FTP server packages specifically designed to use IIS) and, while informational, does not compare the packages available, as useful comments are missing on too many of the entries and those that are there are insufficient for comparison. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shotnoise (talkcontribs) 01:30, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
