Creator

"I created this page."

On Wikipedia, articles are not owned. Just because you created an article does not mean you own it. Once you save your initial edit, it is out there for anyone else to edit at will.

Expert

"I am an expert on this topic."

You may have a Ph.D. in the subject. You may work in the field. But your own personal knowledge cannot be published without reliable sources.

Edit count

"I have been around longer than you." "I have more edits than you."

There are no vested contributors. Edit count and length of time that has passed since your first edit are only numbers.
