Molokai coffee
Molokai Coffee or Moloka‘i Coffee refers to coffee grown, processed and roasted by "Coffees of Hawaii" on the island of Moloka'i in Maui County, Hawaiʻi, United States . They are currently the only producer of Moloka‘i coffee, on a 600-acre (2.4 km2) plantation located in the village of Kualapuu. 5 minutes from Kualapu'u is the trailhead to the Kalaupapa Peninsula. 10 minutes from Kualapuu is the town of Kaunakakai - the island's largest.
Distributors
Trader Joe's introduced this coffee in mid 2008[1] and discontinued it in late 2009[2]. The packaging, a 13 oz/ 369g net wt. can, featured two red hummingbirds on a light yellow background filled with flowers.[3] The can was titled "Moloka'i 100% One Hundred Percent Hawaiian Coffee" and labeled the coffee "Dark Roast, Robust & Earthy, 100% Arabica Whole Bean Coffee".[3]
