Formation

The formation date for the Don't Make a Wave Committee was October 1969. I have provided two refs for this - the news story on the death of Bob Hunter (verifiable over the internet) and Paul Watson's early memoirs. The information on the Greenpeace page on the foundation date is simply wrong. The Don't Make a Wave Committee was formed a few days after the Milrow test took place - which was Oct 2, 1969. The name Green Peace did not come about until 1970. --Takver (talk) 14:49, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
