Currently the Peruvian Coast Guard is composed by seven coastal patrol ships, sixteen port patrol boats, and speedboats for bay control, river patrol boats, river speedboats, lake patrol boats, lake speedboats and motorboats for river interdiction, Two Fokker F-27 aircraft, a Twin Otter hydroplane as well as a fleet of operational vehicles which strengthens operations by coast police of Coast Guard Captaincies.

Río Zarumilla class coastal patrol ship[2]

Displacement 37 tons, full load; 18 knots speed; two GM Detroit Diesel 8V71 diesels, two props; Raytheon 1900 Pathfinder navigation radar; one 20mm gun and one 12.7mm machine gun. Two sister ships deleted in early 1990s.
