The List of unicode radicals for CJK characters is an ongoing effort to synthesize the former components of modern days CJK characters, into a complete list of components. This list is based on the recent system of 214 traditional radicals, used within the Kangxi dictionary (1716), but has been expanded to include known reductions (⽵→⺮) and local variations as well (龜、龟、⻲). Thus, it currently contains 214+116=330 components. These computer based components are nowadays used by example as a basis to create Chinese fonts, or to create sets of data relate to CJK characters, with in battlefront technologies such the Chinese characters description languages.
