The project namespace (also called the 'Wikipedia namespace, Wikipedia meta pages or Wikipedia: pages) is a namespace that provides information about Wikipedia.

Guidelines
Wikipedia meta pages are generally polished pages. That is, these pages should generally not be used for discussion; one should use the talk pages instead. The exception to this rule is when the Wikipedia-namespace page was designed for some specific discussion such as Wikipedia:Requests for adminship or Wikipedia:Quickpolls.
The Wikimedia Meta-Wiki
Wikipedia meta pages should not be confused with the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki, which function in a more wiki-like way, with discussion simply being refactored into content as appropriate.
