Third paragraph, what's an 'IS'?

"SSADM is a waterfall method by which an IS design can be arrived at ..."

An IS is an Information System...

Constantine and DFDs

It surprised me to see Larry Constantine listed as "inventor" of dataflow diagrams. Is there any documentation for this claim? DFDs have been around for a long time. —rodii 15:42, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to go really far back, we used flow diagrams involving decks of cards back in 1959 (when I got into the business), and probably several years earlier, but we didn't have the acronym DFD then... Jpaulm 20:08, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rename?

Shouldn't this be Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodology? That is what is was called when I studied it, never method.
