AIA - Application Integration Architecture

Application Integration Architecture (AIA) is an integration framework from Oracle. AIA is standards based and has pre-built common object definitions and services. AIA makes use of SOA Suite as its foundation. AIA is the foundation on which business process flows can be built. Business process flows built using AIA are referred to as PIP (Process Integration Pack). AIA & PIP decrease development time by providing pre-built solutions. PIPs are both horizontal and vertical. Vertical PIPs cater to industries like Telecom, Retail, Banking/Insurance.
