Confounding Factor was a British video games company founded in 1997 by Toby Gard and Paul Douglas[1], both of Core Design, and based in Bristol, UK[2]. The company only released a single title during its lifetime, called Galleon[3], which went on sale in 2004 for the Microsoft XBox console[4]. The company disbanded soon after[5] with Gard taking up a position with UK video game publisher Eidos[6].
