Botryoidal Spring

Botryoidal Spring is a geyser in the Lower Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States.
Botryoidal Spring is part of the White Creek Group which includes A-0 Geyser and Spindle Geyser. As its name indicates, Botryoidal Spring was formerly a hot spring. In 1996, seismic activity caused to change from a bubbling spring into an explosive geyser.
It erupts for a duration of about one minute with an interval of around 3–5 minutes between eruptions. The fountain reaches a height of 10 feet (3 m).
Immediately after an eruption the pool is totally quiet. An eruption begins with no warning, mostbegin with an amazing blue bubble being caused by immense steambubbles forming below.
