Isfossnipa Peak

Isfossnipa Peak (73°9′S 1°30′W / 73.150°S 1.500°W) is a peak 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of Austvorren Ridge, surmounting the east part of Neumayer Cliffs in Queen Maud Land. Photographed from the air by the Third German Antarctic Expedition (1938-39). Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE) (1949-1952), led by John Schjelderup Giæver and air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958-59) and named "Isfossnipa" (the icefall peak).
