Brandon Allen Falker Claussen (born May 1, 1979, in Rapid City, South Dakota) is a free agent Major League Baseball starting pitcher. He bats right-handed and throws left-handed.

In 1997, Claussen graduated from Goddard High School in Roswell, New Mexico. One year later, he was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 34th round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft. In 1999, he graduated from Howard College in Big Spring, Texas.

He played in the Yankees' minor league system until June 28, 2003, when he made his major league debut, when he was brought up to the major league level for a brief stint. In 2001 he led all minor league pitchers in strikeouts, with 220.[1]

On July 31, 2003, he was traded to the Cincinnati Reds with Charlie Manning and cash for Aaron Boone. On January 12, 2007, he signed a minor league deal with the Washington Nationals.
