PSNA College of Engineering & Technology(PSNA CET), is an Engineering College situated in Dindigul, Tamilnadu, India.

History

The College was founded in 1984 by the late Thiru R.S. Kothandaraman. The college functions under the aegis of Sri Rangalatchumi Educational Trust and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. .

Location

The campus is situated near the village Muthanampatti, about 13 km from Dindigul, along the National Highway,NH 209 towards Palani. Spread over 45 hectares, the campus includes the Main Building, Laboratories, individual Department buildings, hostels as well as an Auditorium.

Central Library

The Central Library of PSNA provides resource support in all areas of engineering and management, teaching, learning and research. Materials include about 55,000 volumes of books on 30,000 titles (for varying periods of loan) and around 300 hard copies of national and international journals and 500 E-journals (Full Text) and 185 (Abstracts). The Audio/Visual section has around 4000 CDs/Videos. It is tied up with British Council Library, American Information Resource Center and The Anna University library.

Placement Cell

The placement cell is headed by a full-time placement officer with responsibilities such as arranging

  1. On/Off Campus interview
  2. In plant training
  3. Industrial visits for both students and faculty
  4. Project work
  5. Career guidance programmes

Besides, the cell arranges programs to improve the personality and communication skills of students

The cell also periodically conducts Aptitude test, Group discussions, Mock interviews and technical tests. Guidance is also offered for pursuing higher studies and research both in India and abroad.

Special Award

The institution has been awarded with "The Best Engineering College in India award" for the year 2007 by ISTE, Delhi.[dubious – discuss]
