Conflict

Lending Tree, using the motto "When banks compete, you win" uses Supply and Demand to attempt to lower consumer interest rates by forcing morgate suppliers into a bidding war, which can result in a better bargain for the user.

However, Consumer affairs has noted that Lending Tree's vetting process has paired customers with alleged "banks" that use fraudulent practices, or sometimes outright scams, such as advance fee fraud.[1]
