The song's narrator has been very happy with his lover so far in his life, and he just wants to hold her, doesn't want to hurt her, noir leave, just wants to be with her. He finally found the love of his life, and because of that, there's no reason for him to say goodbye. The song's chorus goes like this:
I just wanna hold you
I don't wanna hurt you
I don't wanna leave
I just wanna be with you
And after living lost, lost for so long
Finally found the love of my life
Oh why would i say goodbye
