David Codey was born in 1957 on the 7 July in Sydney. His secondary education included 4 years at the Shore school. [1]

Codey representated the wallabies 13 times, from 1983 to 1987. He captained once, against the All Blacks. [2] He became the first Australian to be sent off duing a test match. [1]
