In recent years, paper cut on the size of 8 1/2 x 13 inches has met more widespread use in some circles. For some reason it has been named Folio, implying that it is some traditional reference paper size cut in half.

In BrazilBrazilian]] Portuguese that paper size is also sometimes called Ofício II, a reference to the 8 1/2 x 14 inches paper size (which is named Legal but in Portuguese is better known as Ofício).
