I'm Sorry I'm Leaving EP

Saves the Day's second release, (an EP) which features five acoustic songs. Four of the tunes are originals, and for some reason the band also chose to include a cover of the Modern English song "I'll Melt With You." There is also a song called "The Way His Collar Falls" which was recorded along with the others but appears exclusively on the vinyl version of the release. It was recorded in Christopher's basement on a little machine which we refer to as "The Velveteen Lust catcher." It took about one week to finish the recording, which began early February, 1999. It was ultimately released on Immigrant Sun Records in the early summer of 1999. Eben, David, Ted, Bryan, and Christopher all played on the recording.
