Apologies in the recent deletion vote. Yahoo didnt turn out anything on Core i5 without "Intel"

Please add in more verifiable reference/sources on Core i5 as both of them do not have any reference to Core i5. Having official Intel press releases would be favaourable

Ha. You won't find such a thing, as 'Core i5' is just speculation, every news site refers to it as 'Core i5' and then it's suddenly fact. It's purely speculation and you shouldn't apologise for proposing/supporting deletion. --217.144.243.100 (talk) 11:16, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the "Core i5" is not-official, speculative term used by all those hardnews websites. Intel guys only refer to it by the codename "Lynnfield". Maybe it will be "Core i6"? Or "Core i8"? No proof so far! Therefore I suggest renaming the article to "Lynnfield". Would be more correct.--89.189.17.216 (talk) 19:03, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, "i5" sounds like "MI5" so it may evoke paranoia in some people that it's a "spy chip" or something, so I doubt they would take this risk.--Spectatorbot13 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 03:22, 3 June 2009 (UTC).[reply]
With all of the DRM flying around these days, I wouldn't be surprised if they integrated an E.T. Phone Home®©™ feature so big brother®©™®©™ could keep an eye on the general publics' activities. Ggigabitem (talk) 06:17, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
