The Visual CMDB provides a graphical representation of an IT infrastructure that includes elements such as hardware, software and network components. It covers configuration and change management and the service catalogue. The design makes exclusive use of Microsoft Excel and follows the ITIL framework. It was designed by Cinder Systems Corp., a Canadian IT company.
