Summary Blanking discussion, why this is so horribly wrong

Summary Blanking would permit a second editor who supports the PROD to blank the page (replacing it with a suitable template) after the page has been PROD-tagged for 24 hours.

  • Against Two people can easily wipe a page out from existence, without anyone having time to notice. What many consider decent articles, others consider junk that needs to be disposed of. That's why we have AFD, where people can discuss this, and a closing administrator weighs in the arguments on both sides, and then determines whether or not to destroy an article.
