The Create Project is a web-based community focused on communication and sharing between Free and Open Source Creative applications[1]. Initially created by FreeDesktop.org members as a third-party space for collaboration between Blender, GIMP, Inkscape, Scribus, Audacity, Open Clip Art Library and other successful projects which produce much video, audio, illustrations, photos, and other content, the project space facilitates the annual Libre Graphics Meeting[2] and several community-developed standards such as the OpenRaster, Shared Resources Specification, Open Swatch Book format and more[3].
