Rageaholics Anonymous
Rageaholics Anonymous (RA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help other rageaholics to recover from acting out in compulsive and destructive anger. RA is one of many twelve-step programs following the traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.[1] In fact, by one author's count there are at least 47 official twelve-step fellowships.<ref name "TSFE"> See 12 Steps for Everybody, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272.
The primary purpose of RA is to help recovering rageaholics maintain their sobriety by abstaining from committing actswith respect to rage. According to the group, a sexaholic is someone for whom "lust has become an addiction." o help members "stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.
