sorry - totally disagree !

I am a process enginer; I deal mainly with DCS but also with SCADA

Plant Automation System just like Plant Automation Team is management speak for DCS and DCS engineers; at worst it is used to describe disparate PLC's which may or may not be integrated into a SCADA system or even talk to a DCS

The subject is the same as Industrial Control Systems

Ideas to improve the PAS page

How about defining PAS in terms of the Purdue Model, i.e. PAS represents levels 0,1 and 2. PAS technology is the convergence of DCS, PLC, SCADA, drive control, motion control and associated networks/fieldbuses. PAS provides the capabilities to interface to MES and ERP systems.
