Direct injection

Direct Injection may refer to:
- a method of music production whereby studio instruments, especially bass guitars, can be plugged directly into a mixing console for a better, more present signal and sound. This is as opposed to miking up a bass amplifier. This techinque was developed by Paul McCartney in 1967 during the recording of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".
- a type of fuel injection as in a Gasoline Direct Injection engines and most Diesel engines
