Notability?

I can't understand why Collectonian (talk · contribs) is questioning the notability of this article (or previously tagged it as a possible hoax). Even just five minutes research on Google will show this is a genuine illusion performed by a number of high-profile magicians - Some already listed on Wikipedia. And the main sources given (Genii and Magic magazines) certainly meet the guidelines for being reliable and independent secondary sources. Yes, they're specialist magic magazines, but they cover the subject in general, are widely available, are not affiliated with any of the subjects mentioned in the article, and using articles from them as references is no different to using articles from published scientific journals/magazines such as Nature or Scientific American as references in other articles - And I don't see anyone questioning those as being unreliable or calling the notability of the articles into question. With that in mind, I'm removing the notability tag from this article, as I believe notability is clearly shown by the provision of (currently) eight different references - including two online videos of the illusion being performed. If anyone has any doubts about specific sections of the article, then please use more appropriate tags to indicate the exact part or statement being questioned and I'll do my best to address your concerns.

I've also added some additional supporting references to the article. JS3C (talk) 02:09, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
