Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC) was the first, and is now one of the largest, United States computer industry research and development consortia.

Major computer and semiconductor manufacturers banded together and founded in MCC in late 1982. From there, MCC's membership has diversified to include a broad range of high-profile corporations involved in information technology products. Government research and development agencies and leading universities are also actively involoved.

MCC does research and development in the following areas: System Architecture and Design, Advanced Microelectronics Packaging and Interconnection, Hardware Systems Engineering, Environmentally Conscious Technologies, Distributed Information Technology and Intelligent Systems.
