Degausser is the production company of artist D W Knaggs. Its productions include the "Degausser" Book series, the short film "Slamm", the upcoming industrial faery tale "Telling Lies" and "Liquid Clockwork Version 2.0". The name of the company comes from the action of Degaussing memory or erasing the information recorded on storage devices such as tapes and memory cards.

The name and logo of the company are based on a door to an apartment building in Providence, Rhode Island USA that was typically rented to RISD students. The building had a fuzzy leopard print fabric stapled to the front door. Seth MacFarlane lived in the building during his time at the college.
