Talk:IBM Parallel Sysplex
Why does it require z/OS R.8 for an ICF-only implementation to be viable? With CF Duplexing many installations I know run without external CFs. Martin Packer 20:22, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Rebuilding CF structures
There were some improvements introduced in z/OS 1.8 for more efficient CF duplexing and rebuilding CF structures. That statement in the article makes sense to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BBCWatcher (talk • contribs) 14:32, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Merge proposal
I think the two articles can be combined into a more fleshed out single article. In my view, GDPS is a subset of Parallel Sysplex and therefore describing the two can be done in a single article. Both articles are fairly stubby. In looking at IBM Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex to try and clean it up I thought it may be better to combine them. Any thoughts from others? --TreyGeek (talk) 16:18, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
