When editing userboxes to make a category change, |}</div> should be the last line for most userbox code. It should not be on the same line as the text that precedes it.

<includeonly> (or <noinclude> if not categorising userpages) should be on the same line as |}</div> to prevent extra spacing from appearing when grouping userboxes on userpages.

To be emptied or moved

The following user categories meet the requirements 1) for deletion but are not empty, or 2) for renaming/moving. You can still review discussions, which have been moved to archive pages (in particularly controversial cases, discussion may be left intact on this page instead). This section is meant to be a summary with no discussion. Some cleanup links have been moved to bots task pages listed above. You may find it helpful to use the software WP:AWB in re-categorisation.

Editors: Please take care to note whether or not the discussion suggests the category may need to be split among multiple destination categories, the category should be converted into a list, or there are any other special circumstances that preclude a bot from blindly implementing the decision.

Empty but do not delete

This is for "parent" categories which need members removed, but not the sub-categories. After a category is empty, simply remove it from the list.

This is for categories which have already been deleted, but which still have members in them that need to be removed from the category. Policy is not established on what to do about users who re-add themselves to categories that have been deleted, so any such removals should be treated with caution.

The categories below meet the eligibility requirements for deletion at the top of this page. These categories have been de-populated, and any documentation of this decision completed. Administrators may delete these categories at will (do not delete the log page). If there is a particular category that is replacing the deleted category (redundant, misspelled, etc.) as noted below, that should be mentioned in the deletion log entry.
