Issues
So A while ago I placed the "this article has multiple issues" template on the page. It says to discuss it in the talk page, but I never said anything here.
So here is what needs to be done:
- red-links need to be created
- The markup should be cleaned:
- If it is a straight-forward list, then use {{User:10nitro/Userboxlist2}} - this is a version of {{User:10nitro/Userboxlist}} optimized to reduce server load, with the downside of having to "subst" it. What it actually does is configure {{User:10nitro/usbl}} so you don't have to.
- If it includes several lists (PHP), or list with individual items (Python), use {{User:10nitro/Usbklist}} inside of {{usbktop}}/{{usbkbottom}}
- Do the stuff in italics on the page, such as PHP, Python, Smalltalk...
- Make each language internally consistent
- Any image or abbreviation in the left "id box" should link to the article about the language, but the "-x" should not be linked
- The right "info box" needs to link to, and only to a category or transclusion page
- The entire set of userboxes for a language should use a consistent color scheme:
- The standard language color scheme
- Or, a scheme for that language, that does not change between the levels, such as the {{User:ZabMilenko/Userboxes/php coder}} set for PHP
- I think the standard scheme should always exist, with an optional languge-themed scheme. OrangeDog (talk • edits) 11:14, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Some more for you:
- Hunt down duplicates and re-direct/merge.
- {{user Basic}} vs {{user BASIC}}
- {{user Perl}} vs {{User:Quasar Jarosz/Userboxes/Perl}}
- {{user prolog}} vs {{user pro}}
Add documentation for 10nitro's templates (e.g. {{User:10nitro/usbl}}).- Done, although someone may want to review them and make sure they make sense. The concerned templates are:
- Make sure the userbox represents the skill level (and that the non-specified version makes no skill claims).
- Try and clean up the mess made by User:Amazonien.
- Please be more specific. ~ 10nitro (talk) 02:55, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Amazonien created babel boxes for a number of smaller languages using the ISO codes. They renamed any userbox already existing with the same name by just changing capitalisation, without checking any links or moving any other userboxes in the series. This affected userboxes including {{User bas}}, {{User ada}}, {{User its}} and probably some more. Some clean up has been done but there is still more to do.
