Department of Rural Development and Land Reform

The Department of Land Affairs is one of the departments of the South African government. It is responsible for topographic mapping, cadastral surveying, deeds registration, and land reform. The department falls under the responsibility of the Minister of Agriculture and Land Affairs, currently Lulama Xingwana.
